Great Fun for children as African Theatre Camp holds in Lagos on August 3 – 31, 2016.
Children in Okota axis of Lagos are billed for a great theatre experience as African Theatre Camp holds in Lagos from August 3 to August 31, 2016 at Okota, Lagos. The theatre camp is the maiden edition of an annual camp designed by Vuvuzela Communications Limited and Nowchild Children’s Theatre to give children opportunity to appreciate African theatre; acquire improved knowledge and skills in Music and Dance; develop and enhance their skills in acting, dance, storytelling, mine, pantomime, etc; get improved knowledge and use of Communication; hone up their Leadership potentials and get proper Etiquette training. The Camp is non-residential and at a fee of N40, 000 per child. According to the organizers, this translates to N2,000 only per day for 20 days of great fun and theatre activities.
The camp opens on August 3 at Diamond Pizza & Restaurants (Formerly Thrillers compound): 158, Okota Road, beside Skye Bank and is open to children between ages 6-10 (Junior) and 11-17 (Senior). There is a free bus arrangement for children coming from Festac area; plus Free T-Shirts and books. There are limited spaces and children will be enrolled on first come, first served basis.
